Marilyn K. Reid began writing as a child and her
writing career began in the offices of two local
newspapers. However, her shorthand and
typewriting skills led her to acquire a betterpaid job whilst bringing up her family so she
became a personal secretary for many working
years in the oil industry. She continued telling
and writing stories in her own time. When her
daughter left school, she took a course in theatre
arts and performance in order to be able to write
plays.
What if a mysterious old spell book held the power to change your world—and others?
When Joss discovers an old spell book in his grandmother’s attic, he unlocks a world of magic, mystery, and danger. With his trusty dog Sam, he’s swept into the realm of Rangnar—a land of sprites, talking animals, and ancient secrets.
But dark forces want the spell book too, and Joss must protect it while learning the true meaning of courage, friendship, and doing what’s right.
Perfect for readers aged 6–12, Joss and Sam’s Fantastic Adventures is a fast-paced, imaginative tale filled with time travel, magical battles, and heartwarming moments.
